Are many of us a part of this group? Should we be?
I stumbled on this by accident while searching for NASAR training
opportunities in the midwest.

Subject: [nasar-msar] Welcome to the Group

> Welcome to: NASAR MSAR Standards!
>
> This is the National Association for Search And Rescue (NASAR) web site
collecting input for the NASAR committee developing Mounted Search And
Rescue (MSAR) standards.
> The Group's home page is:
>
> >From there you can find out about the latest votes and share your
opinions regarding Mounted Search And Rescue standards under development by
the NASAR MSAR Standards Committee.
>
> This is NOT a discussion forum, but a method to share MSAR rider opinions
with the NASAR MSAR Standards Committee while the standards are under
development.
>
> Email will be sent when there is a new topic for you to express your
opinion. You must go to the Group web page to VOTE, and each member is
allowed only one vote per topic. Most votes will have a deadline. This will
allow the Committee to move ahead, while considering the results.
>
> Please invite others involved in MSAR to join the Group as soon as
possible to provide more input to the NASAR MSAR Standards Committee.
>
> We look forward to getting your input!
