I believe I have read that you get a cost share based on sq ft and they limit that to 2178 sq ft which is 5% of one acre.
I believe you buy what you want and it won't change the calculations they run. I may be wrong but I'm sure I've seen this in print.
I am certain they will not limit your expenditure but will limit theirs.  In other words, how much of your own money are you going to spend in the process of getting this grant.
