Sorry for the dumb question.

I should have asked, are there any studies that show better yields, or healthier looking plants using filtered water as contrasted to city water containing chlorine or other biocides? Or have there been any microscopic comparisons of soil watered with city water or filtered water?

Maybe someone knows.
