Twist ties would be quick and easy to use and, I believe, cheap.

Here in Dominica, people pull apart and use strands of twine or use pieces of vines or strips of other natural materials.  Looks nice and no chance of a nonedible dye (like might be in ribbons) contaminating the food.

Best wishes,

Karen

Can you all tell me what else I can use to tie up bundles of carrots, beets, green onions, etc, instead of rubber bands? I am allergic to rubber bands.

I bought ribbon last season, but need something cheaper. I thought about Christmas curling ribbon, but am unsure if it fades.

Thank you.
