Standard operating procedure for rural folks is to say nothing ,build it
first and wait for any complaint. In my state NJ has very strict rules
about structures even a no hunting sign on a tree requires a permit. To
counter this farmers have passed "right to farm laws" that allow us to
build almost anything we want without permits. Any non permanent
structure on a farm is exempt from permits. Any time a town tries to
apply permits and "taxes" on our farm structures our states farm bureau
organizes a protest and we get our way. Check with your states farm
community you may have options you don't know about. ..Bob.
