It has happened to me many times, this year with 20 days of rain in May it
will probably happen again before Im finished planting. Generally if you put
up with it this year the soil will melt back into place after many rain
storms and the soil will till up normally again next year as long as
conditions are right.
I rotate one year of soybeans this always does a nice job of putting
friability back into the soil...Bob.
