Boy, I wish I were having the luck of the rest of you.

All of my summer squash has been disappointing this year, from patty pan to zephyr to Zuke. Not only has fruit set been poor, once it cooled down enough for fruit to start setting, I started getting fungal attacks on the fruit. We've been in a drought and I'm using drip tape but I'm still getting rotting fruit, much of it developing big white fuzzy spor masses at some point.

The county hort agent says:

"the symptom of the white fungal mass matches with
choanephora fruit rot. In that case, it is said control is difficult -
using protectant sprays to prevent new blossoms/fruit from being infected,
and is difficult because of broad time frame of blossom development. But
this rot Choanephora sounds like it.

"The materials "Oxidate" or "Serenade" are both organic options, but I know
little about how well they work. Serenade is available from Agraquest
info AT agraquest.com. Oxidate is available from Biosafe Systems:
1-888-273-3088 or biosafesystems.com."

I have a few hundred more plants just starting to blossom. I'm wondering if the rest of you are doing any anti-fungal treatments or if you use any foliars or side-dressings to boost your yields. I know, I know, TOO MUCH ZUCHINNI has been my war cry too in other gardens in other seasons..
