Peter,

Some general things:

There really aren't any "rules of thumb" for percentage slope, etc, because there are way too many variables (soil/slope type, weighting/loading (bucket? full or empty? pulling something?). What is the situation where you'll be driving on, or near the sloping land?

Does your tractor have a roll over protection system? (ROPS) Even ROPS and cabs are only effective if you are wearing the seatbelt (just like in a car).

Let me know if you have further questions, I'll be glad to help.

Are there any rules of thumb about what angle or percentage of slope on
a side hill is safe to operate a tractor on? Mine will have a low center
of gravity and 50% water in the rear tires for stability, but side hills
give me the creeps- I saw a rollover into a creekbed once. I had to hold
the guy's head above water until the paramedics got there. He was
pinned, but escaped unhurt, thanks to the soft mud. Peter
