Hello All - I'm working on a story about whining in the workplace, why we do it, whether it's on the rise and how to deal with it. I'm trying to talk with folks about their experiences dealing with colleagues who complained about everything, a staffer who just droned on about the stress of it all, that kind of thing. Anybody had to deal with those types? Would you mind talking with me?
Thanks for the consideration -- JC

I believe that whining can actually be a good thing in moderation.
It beats the hell out of all those perky cheerleaders we see from
the management types. Now they are really irritating.

I try to budget part of each day for self-pity and victimization
theories whether they are true or not. Complaining and whining is
part of our pursuit of happiness.

One thing though, I don't think I could live in a cube next to a
Gilbert Godfrey. That might just put me over the edge.
