I must be the minority (again). I like the show. I really like. I grew
up on it. His stories are great. The talent that performs on it blow me
away. Variety shows are so rare these days, anyway. It's good that it's
on. It's good radio. I respect Keith Weston a lot (He's an XYC old
schooler) but, I strongly disagree with him on Mr. Keillor. So just like at
WXYC, the advice is "Change the channel or turn it off for a while. We'll
have something else that you'll probably like later".

I'll shut up now...

To be honest, I like the show. Most of his musical guests are fun to
listen (Of course, I'm a former C&W DJ who likes bluegrass and good
traditional music), the skits are mostly amusing (the sound effects guy
rocks), and the "commercials" are fun.

But I do usually turn it down when he sings.

You're most welcome to hate the show, but the people you hear talking
aren't reporters:

Roy Blount Jr: Humor Writer
Adam Felber: Comedy Writer
P.J. O'Rourke: Former Editor-in-Chief National Lampoon
Charlie Pierce: Sports Writer
Paula Poundstone: Comedian
Mo Rocca: Political Comedian (Daily Show with Jon Stewart)
Roxanne Roberts: Writer for the Style section of the Washington Post

The only person who is a reporter is Sue Ellicot, who is a former BBC
corespondent.
