You could zip your files and password protect them. My bet that Google would not risk their sterling reputation by letting this happen. I don't think I would store my tax data in my gmail account, but my irreplaceable collection of fudge recipes, no problem.

Is that not a security risk? If whomever runs the gmail business has
a disgruntled employee, could they not use your info improperly?
