All suggestions welcome, even if they require gs or xpdf to print.

I do this sort of thing all the time.

I load up the .PDF file into xpdf, and press the print icon. This creates a .PS file. I load the ,PS file into gs which has the ability to mark odd (or even) numbered pages, then "print marked". Turn the paper stack over, change the marking and print the new "marked".

I could not find mention of this ability of gs from a web search, thanks.
I hope gs can also print in reverse numerical order.

There is a pdftops and/or pdf2ps CLI utility included with gs and/or xpdf.

netpbm would still print a lot faster than gs, so a little script would still be nice, but I can wash dishes while I wait.

This is in BL2, of course.

Or probably BL3 with a few libc6 files added.

Regards,
Ron
