Jim:

Again you have shown yourself as able to read many sources except the Hebrew
of the Bible.

The context is what argues against you. Verse one sets the stage, namely
that this is about Tyre. The last section of verse three continues that
context.

Secondly, the dots in the Hebrew are wrong often enough that they cannot be
considered authoritative. In Isaiah 23:3, $XR can be a verb, and still make
sense according to the context. The same with Y)WR in the same verse.

Kevin P. Edgecomb gives a mainstream scholarly answer to your speculations.

For you to focus on one word out of context is considered poor linguistic
practice.
