MSIE may be broken and non-standard, but it's 95% of the installed base.
wouldn't it be wiser to take a more pragmatical approach
and get down from your free-software hero pedestal? :)
what if a consultants who intends to use XOM finds himself
working at a customer site and mozilla is not an option?
also, I thought you were all about the 80/20 rule, while
we are talking 5/95 here...

No. Internet Explorer is closed source. Therefore I cannot fix its broken, non-standards compliant handling of XHTML. I suggest you use Mozilla instead.
