BEST DANCEHALL OF Õ04 on the Thursday Night Feature, 9 p.m. to midnight
Tune in tonight as we play some of the best tracks from the biggest dancehall names of 2004, including Elephant Man, Beenie Man, and Sean Paul, but also newcomers to the genre: Richie Spice, Jah Cure, and I-Wayne, among others. WeÕll also check out some very new 2005 riddims (and remixes!) from Sleepy Dog, Pain Killer, and more.

SHITMAT on the Inside Track, Friday, 9 p.m.
Henry Collins, aka Shitmat, keeps up with his ultra-hyper ragga mashups, propelling himself forward attacking both British culture and his listeners' ears. Full English Breakfast, his 2nd full length, is a voyage through a twisted world of reggae-drenched dancefloor-friendly happy jungle plunderphonics that samples everything from Harry Belafonte to Handel to Big Ben itself...a must listen for fans of Kid606, People Like Us or Jason Forrest/Donna Summer.

SOUTHERN YODELING on Hell or High Water, Sunday, 1-2 p.m.
The earliest historical reference to yodeling comes from the Roman Emperor Julian, who complained about the wild shrieking songs of the mountain people of the North. In the 1800s, descendents of these mountain-folk moved to the Pennsylvania area of America, where they met British and Irish immigrants. Gradually these people moved south into Appalachia, where the influence of kšlning (from Scandinavian peoples) and French, Mexican, African, and Caribbean music gradually gave birth to the cowboy yodeling most Gene Autry fans are familiar with.Ê This Sunday's program will showcase the epiglottal acrobatics of the South.
