HARD ROCK on the Thursday Night Feature, Thursday 9 p.m.-midnight
This week the Thursday Night Feature will focus on the mysterious genre of
"hard rock." We don't know exactly what this means, but it's the last TNF
from WXYC music director Franz before he departs for greener
pastures. Tune in to have your curiosity satisfied.
An interview with Denver Dalley of DESAPARECIDOS, Friday 4 p.m.
Denver Dalley, guitarist for new Saddle Creek artists Desaparecidos, will
stop by the WXYC studio for a live chat with host Eric. He'll possibly be
joined by some of his bandmates, which include members of Bright Eyes
(Conor Oberst, Ian McElroy). Desaparecidos plays the Cat's Cradle with Now
It's Overhead and locals Sorry About Dresden Friday night.
A discussion of timely topics with BILL AND TODD on Northern Hemisphere
Live, Sunday 5-7 pm.
This Sunday NHL will feature the monthly installment from long-time hosts
Bill and Todd. No guests are scheduled, just open, freewheeling
conversation and batting around of issues, complaints, and improbable stories
from the news
-- plus active audience participation through phone calls about anything
that happens to be on your mind.
