Hi Wheatsville people!
I hope you're getting ready to enjoy a fun and relaxing weekend. This is
just a quick e-mail to tell you that we have a whole bunch of delicious
organic fruit available here for the weekend. Fruit salads are a nice
alternative for dessert or breakfast on a holiday weekend. We've got a ton
of strawberries and we're moving them out on a deal 1 pound of organic
strawberries are $3.49 each. * oz package is $1.99.
We have red and green organic grapes for just $2.49 pound.
We are continuing our Watermelon deal. Organic watermelon for 39ยข pound.
We'll cut you a melon to size as well if you don't want a whole one.
We've also got Organic Plums and Nectarines on sale for $1.29/lb and
$1.79/lb respectively. The stone fruit has been amazing this year and since
we allow our fruit to ripen naturally you can find the ripest most delicious
peaches, plums and nectarines anywhere right here at your co-op!
So, if you have a chance, come on in and eat some fruit. Your mom would be
proud of you for making a good snack choice!
(You could make a summer fruit pie if you want to be a little more decadent,
though!)
I want to put a quick plug in here for the Chronicle Best of Austin Poll.
I'm suggesting that you consider Wheatsville for the Specialty/ Gourmet
Store category. (I know we're not exactly gourmet, but we like to think
we're special!) here is a link to the poll
http://www.austinchronicle.com/feedback/bestof/
So, have a great weekend! Check out out Co-op Advantage specials for some
great deals. We've got flyers at the member center and at each register.
Hope to see you soon!
