Wikipedia confirms my vague memory. (Like a lot of people here & elsewhere, I own tons more records ... & CDs ... & tapes ... than I'll ever get a chance to listen to; the Soup Dragons LP in question is one of the first category.)
Whether that's the same as the Neo Boys track, I have no idea; don't yet own it, & I'm waiting to see if I have income in the coming weeks. (I don't work for the government -- god forbid! -- but the nonprofit that employs me operates mostly with federal
money, & it this idiotic budget impasse results in a shutdown, it's unpaid leave time as of Tuesday) before remedying that.
Dan

Didn't the Soup Dragons have a (quasi-)hit called "I'm Free" back in the day? Thought it was a Stones cover, or something. Never paid any attention at the time, though.Dan

Hey folks,I'm really into the K recs Neo Boys reissue. Here's what pitchfork wrote: http://pitchfork.com/reviews/tracks/15963-neo-boys-give-me-the-message/Here's the K bio: http://krecs.com/artists/neo-boys/The first disc is very familiar (in a good way) on the typical tip but it gets even better on disc 2,. IMHO.For those who know them....Can you tell me if "I'm Free" is a cover. I know there was a 90s hit version of that, but I don't know whose egg this chicken begat.Dina--
