I don't think the name Slits is any less overtly
sexual than what's in the mainstream media. Think Black Eyed Peas' "Humps." As
such, I cannot in sound mind have a list made by the members of TG without
mentioning the artists' we referenced in our very own name! In addition, I feel
that the Au Pairs are very inspiration. I mean, sheesh, Bikini Kill use the
f-word more than any of these bands and they're like SUPER popular with a
younger age group no?
I dunno -- maybe we need to asterisk anything with
questionable content? Yikes! I'm turning into Tipper.
