I just read the bug-report. I'm running gcc version 3.4.3 and some of the
mentioned spells (acroread, firefox) work just fine... That is, acroread
complained about a missing plugin once or twice but that's about it. Some
info:

basvg@loki:~$ gaze version gcc
Grimoire Section Spell Grimoire Version Installed Version
-------- ------- ----- ---------------- -----------------
test gnu gcc 3.4.3 3.4.3

basvg@loki:~$ gaze from libstdc++.so.5
acroread-7.0:/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5
gcc-3.3.3:/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5

basvg@loki:~$ ls -la /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root root 23 2005-04-22 18:35 /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 ->
/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6

Note that I have gcc 3.4.3 installed but that libstdc++.so.5 (a symlink) is
still coming from gcc-3.3.3 ...libstdc++.so.6 is, really, coming from the new
gcc. Am I missing a point here...?

Cheers

Bas
