Well, the way I worked for the SPARC port is to get a Linux on there (Gentoo,
in
my case), but any *nix should work. Then setup somewhere (I used a partition
mounted on /opt/smgl) to start installing packages compiled from source and of
the versions in the grimoire to (I installed Sorcery on the Gentoo machine and
told it to use INSTALL_ROOT, which puts it in /opt/cross-install/<arch>/ or
some such). Then you can start using `chroot` to that directory and make sure
the system is up-to-date, then edit your boot loader to mount a kernel from
there and use that as the new root, and hope it works. If so, you can then
work
on making an ISO. ;)
