Absolutely right! The repository goes from version 2 to version 3. The version of your Subversion repository can be found in the "format" file in the root of the repository itself. If you've updated and nothing works, downgrade the spell (dispel -d) or grab a binary from their site to do the dump. Then load using new `svnadmin'.
My apologies for not warning everyone, I didn't think Subversion has a large following among SMGL users and those who do use it know better what to do themselves.
