you can just edit /etc/sorcery/local/grimoire

mine looks like:


GRIMOIRE_DIR[0]=/usr/local/grimoire
GRIMOIRE_DIR[1]=/var/lib/sorcery/codex/test
GRIMOIRE_DIR[2]=/var/lib/sorcery/codex/z-rejected

/usr/local/grimoire is a simple tree of sections

#ls /usr/local/grimoire
codex.index graphics misc pascal
database kde old provides.index video

when you do a "scribe update", it will ask about repairing the metadata, but
just ignore it
