What I did on a spell was to add a query on PREPARE asking the user if he
wanted to build it for the running kernel (uname -r) or for the installed
version of the linux spell. It seems to me that would be the best option, let
the user choose. And if we could trap the uname call, it could easily be done
inside sorcery.
