Summary: Recasting utils/grep cannot remove grep binary
Product: Sorcery
Version: 1.14.x
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: Unknown
AssignedTo: sm-sorcery-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: kirikaza AT rambler.ru

At first I cast grep with PCRE support and without any configure options. So
sorcery_cast installed grep, fgrep, egrep to /usr/bin.

Then I decided to recast grep without PCRE support and with configure option
«--exec-prefix=/». So sorcery_cast installed grep, fgrep, egrep to /bin.
Before
it, of course, sorcery_dispel removed fgrep, egrep from /usr/bin but it left
/usr/bin/grep intact!

And now there are new /bin/grep (not linked to PCRE) and old /usr/bin/grep
(linked to PCRE). Is it OK?

And some suprises from sorcery_gaze:
% gaze from /bin/grep
grep-2.5.3:/usr/bin/grep
grep-2.6.3:/bin/grep

I did not cast grep-2.5.3 manually. That version was provided from
installation
ISO. Is it OK too?
