I thought we had bounced back to using EXPORTS so you dont have to recast the
spell in order to share variables, which again, can be adjusted easily using
REPAIR files, SHARED_ cannot. Everything i said about REPAIR had to do with
using EXPORTS (file or line in DETAILS). But of course, I honestly dont care
which way spell writers want it.

And Im also vaguely concerned about people arbitrarily sourcing the .p files
willy-nilly. That name is *not* guarenteed to stay that way forever, and its
values are actually pretty meaningless, its a cache of the last thing the user
selected, which could be valid, or could be changed depending on dependency
resolution order (which isnt guarenteed btw).

It'd be like a C program just looking at random other memory (on a system w/o
memory protection) to learn what another program is doing, its both unreliable
and breaks all sorts of data hiding concepts. But, if i have to change
something
that wasnt guarenteed in the first place to satisfy another bug, then thats
what
i'll do, and its just too bad if it breaks a spell...If someone wants to come
up
with a variable sharing scheme (like this bug, but more advanced) that
actually
incorporates an api, rather than doing out of band data sharing then Im all
for it.
