Summary: gaze: multi-grimoire problems
Product: Sorcery
Version: Devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Gaze
AssignedTo: sm-sorcery-bugs AT lists.ibiblio.org
ReportedBy: christian AT subigo.dk

depending on which gaze-function you use, different aproaches to the
multi-grimoire problem are used...
in order of appearance:

'gaze where';
only returnes the section where the first occurance of the spell is found, so
even if it's placed in a different section in another grimoire than the
primary,
only the primary section is displayed.
it should imho display all ocurances of the spell

'gaze website'/'gaze url';
only displays the first occurance as above mentioned, but this is a 'smaller'
problem, as it is very likely to be the same in any case

'gaze version';
again only returns the first occurance, and doesn't even report which grimoire
it is listing from.
it would be very usefull for people with eg. both 'test' and 'devel' to know
what version is where...

'gaze license';
same as above

'gaze sources';
same as above

'gaze history';
same as above

'gaze sums';
havn't been able to test, and to be honest, I don't quite know how this
works...

'gaze md5sum';
if you ask me, this and above function is just plain weird... - they seem to
print sums/md5sums of results of a 'find / -name <spell>'
not sure how this is affected by multi-grimoires...

'gaze section';
only lists spells from primary grimoire...

'gaze maintainer';
again, it only cat's the /var/lib/sorcery/codex/<primary
grimoire>/<section>/MAINTAINER
unless no such section exists in the primary grimoire...

'gaze grimoire';
has no option to specify which grimoire you want listed, and it only lists
spells from the primary grimoire...

'gaze html';
same as above

'gaze newer';
same as above

'gaze older';
same as above

I haven't tested the rest of the functions, though I'm allmost sure that they
will display similar problems...
