Ok the GNOME 2.6 beta is in the development grimoire...

A few notes....

As always these are beta versions and may have bugs in them.

BIG WARNING: BACKUP your EVOLUTION folder before running the new
evolution2. It now uses db 4.1.25 and once it converts the mailboxes
they can't be reverted.

I created a libsigc++3 for the 1.9.15 version of libsigc++ as there are
still spells that need the libsigc++2 version and they both can be
installed at the same time.

rhythmbox will not work with the 2.6 gnome unless you update to the
development version of it.

You may need to run a cast --fix after the update.

until the bug for nss is fixed you may have a problem with mozilla 1.6
as the nss spell replaces some of the mozilla files and they are not
compatible versions.

A few bugs that I will be submitting...

crypto: nss - the mozilla-nss.pc and mozilla-nspr.pc files also need to
be copied to /usr/lib/pkgconfig and over writing the ones the mozilla
1.6 puts in there. Also the NSS_3_8_RTM checkout needs to be changed to
NSS_3_9_RTM to be compatible with mozilla 1.6 as it over writes some
files that mozilla 1.6 installs. Also is there a reason for the "/" in
front of the ${INSTALL_ROOT} of the file copies?

crypto: gnutls may need MAKE_NJOBS=1
