Hamish,

That command does not work for me as the script can't find my old stuff for
some reason. However, SilverSlayer in #sourcemage told me to put the line
'nvidia' in /etc/modules and it worked!

Now i assume that puttng say, 'bttv' in there while it loads the module it
does not allow you to pass parameters. It would be better to put it
into /etc/modprobe.conf.

I can't find an explanation of what the definiton of the modprobe.* files
are.
Can you point me to them so I can do the script manually?
