The ones that are actually important for this are those in basesystem (that's
why I wanted this, so I could get chroot to actually work on my SPARC), and
all
of them (except gettext and glibc, which I couldn't get to compile, which I
needed to chroot into the already partially-installed SMGL system, which I
couldn't do since everything there was linked against Gentoo's libs, blah
blah)
worked with -static that I can tell.
