XDelta would only be used for large (over 5Mb? ) source tarballs. They aren't
that much - offhand, I can recall XFree86, mozilla, not many more. But the
difference then in downloading times (and total monthly traffic) is
appreciable.
As for cpio/rpmunpack, I like having them around, but maybe you're right, they
only need to be added to the DEPENDS.
