- Subject: [SM-Grimoire] updating of spells

Hi All
I have noticed in a couple of different threads over the last few months
people
mentioning that they like certain spells to remain in a somewhat stable
state
but that others they are happy to go to bleeding edge.
A short while back I travelled to the Darkside and installed Sorcerer for a
bit of
a fiddle and to see what they were doing in there distro compared to ours.
Something that may be of interest for people in above situation is that they
had two different kinds of 'hold'.
Hard Hold (HOLD): Spells held by this are not to be updated until hold is
removed.
Soft Hold (SOLD): Spells held by this are not to be updated unless there is
a security
update made for spell or spell needs to be
updated to comply with a dependency.
We may not necessarily choose exact same reasons but perhaps something along
these lines may be useful to users?
