Hopefully this release will fix the errors with pentium4 (see below):
IA-32
* Fixed a number of bugs in SSE and MMX intrinsics.
* Fixed common compiler crashes with SSE instruction set enabled
(implied by -march=pentium3, pentium4, athlon-xp)
* __m128 and __m128i is not 128bit aligned when used in structures.
gcc 3.2.3 is out (but not in the grimoire yet), so would those with
pentium4 machines please manually update gcc and try again the spells
(alsa-driver, mozilla, vlc, and xine-lib) which failed with pentium4
earlier? You'll need to edit the BUILDs and remove any sedit/export lines
which change pentium4 to pentium3 or i686, or removes optimizations.
Sparc-specific (for those of you with this ;)):
* 7784: [Sparc] ICE in extract_insn, in recog.c
* 7796: sparc extra failure with -m64 on execute/930921-1.c in unroll.c
* 8281: ICE when compiling with -O2 -fPIC for Ultrasparc
* 8366: [Sparc] C testsuite failure with -m64 -fpic -O in
execute/loop-2d.c
* 8726: gcc -O2 miscompiles Samba 2.2.7 on 32-bit sparc
* 9414: Scheduling bug on Ultrasparc
* 10067: GCC-3.2.2 outputs invalid asm on sparc64
PowerPC-specific:
* 9732: Wrong code with -O2 -fPIC
* 10073: ICE: powerpc cannot split insn

Thank you!

Firstly, thank you to Geoff and Jose as they were quite correct and it was my
sym-link
and extra variable that had java going nuts.
As i have progressed past problem above I was hoping for smooth sailing
(wrongo).
Here is next error quite some way into compile:
g++: Internal error: Terminated (program cc1plus)
Please submit a full bug report.
See <URL:http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/bugs.html> for instructions.

Just to let whoever it may concern know, gnome-print needs to have gdk-pixbuf
added to DEPENDS as it won't compile otherwise

Would someone please enlighten me as to what "poopy" is that appears
now whenever I cast a spell?

I saw a similar thing in the chat room -- somebody was complaining of
that.
PERFORCE Change 11639 has...
==== //sgl/devel/sorcery/usr/sbin/cast#20 (xtext) ====
210a211
> echo poopy >&2
Dufflebunk is the culprit.
go to line 210 in /usr/sbin/cast and see if you have that.
I haven't seen the change to take that out yet.
I crossposted to sm-sorcery (please continue discussion off of sm-grimoire
now on this issue as it's a "proven" sorcery issue ;) ).
Maybe Dufflebunk is listening on sm-sorcery?
