Did you check if your DEPENDS file is set executable
(chmod +x)?

I've pulled the "fix" into both testing and devel grimoires, so it is now
"safe" to upgrade net-tools. ;) Now, by safe, I mean that it will no
longer remove /etc/sysconfig/network during an upgrade/clean install.
