It isn't completely clear, but that would be my interpretation. This is a
change from the previous patches we were using. Since the patches are to
the SCSL licensed source, I believe the patches had to be SCSL as well.
Here's what the download page for the patches says:

"The following patches are only useful for people who have accepted SUN
COMMUNITY SOURCE LICENSE (SCSL) for the Java 2 Platform Standard Edition.
By downloading these patches you accept the terms and conditions of the
SCSL."

Let me get one more successful build in (with the jni.h workaround
removed) before we consider it safe to remove it. It is listed in the
ChangeLog on the LFS hint (one of the patches takes care of it).

Do you know if there is a relevant bug filed in Sun's bug database?
