Folks,
I think I'm going nutz. I am using the stable grimoire (installed just
yesterday). I am trying to cast glibc, but i seem to be in some
catch-22. It seems that the variables that a 'ldconfig' create are being
erased right b4 the installation. It compiles and then I get:
Preparing to install glibc
grep: /var/log/sorcery/install/glibc-2.2.5: No such file or directory
ldconfig: /usr/lib/libnautilus.so.0 is not a symbolic link
/tmp/casting.24908.32351: /usr/sbin/dispel: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: No
such file or directory
/tmp/casting.24908.32351: line 280: /bin/rm: No such file or directory
! Problem Detected !
/tmp/casting.24908.32351: line 230: /bin/rm: No such file or directory
/tmp/casting.24908.32351: line 180: /usr/bin/sleep: No such file or
directory
Creating /var/log/sorcery/compile/glibc-2.2.5.bz2
/tmp/casting.24908.32351: line 171: /usr/bin/bzip2: No such file or
directory
/tmp/casting.24908.32351: line 172: /bin/rm: No such file or directory
/tmp/casting.24908.32351: line 173: /bin/rm: No such file or directory
(please ignore the ldconfig: /usr/lib/libnautilus.so.0 is not a symbolic
link. That's hack to get galeon working under Gnome2)
if I them type 'rm' or 'grep' ect., I get a no such file or directory.
Doing a 'ldconfig' fixes that. Furthermore, if i then go into the source
dir and do a 'make install' it works just fine. But I can;t cast it..
Any ideas? My system thinks this is not installed so any 'cast --fix's
do not work.
Help!
