Hiya folks,

Well, lately, I had to switch to my RedHat partition, because I needed to get
important work done fast (actually I've been looking for a better job lately,
so that means updating CVs, checking news, answering to emails and so on, so
little time to mess around), which means I have yet to 'sorcery rebuild' with
gcc 3.2. I fear I'll get a lot of errors when I do it. I will probably try to
trash all packages but the base system + X and a light window manager like
xfce before rebuilding so that it doesn't take forever. I would actually
prefer to restart from scratch with a base gcc 3.2 installation but I fear
that none is currently available (I've been checking SM's iso images lately,
they seem quite old).

Here is the current status of the 'games' section:
+ no open bugs in Bugzilla
- - almost all spells lack LICENSE and MD5
- - no spells have been tested with gcc 3.2 so far
- - 5-10 spells are waiting to be added (I'll forward the emails when
requested)
- - 10+ spells have newer versions (I'll forward the emails...)
+ Eric Sandall (sandalle) would be happy to help out
+ Arwed von Merkatz (Alley_Cat) has offered to take over from late
september 2002
+ Gareth Clay (i4) added himself to The Source Mage Developers (Wiki)

Of course, since 'games' is a big section, several maintainers (I'd say at
least 3) are appreciated.

The new maintainers should have read:
- - http://wiki.sourcemage.org/index.php?page=GrimoireGurusHandbook
- - http://wiki.sourcemage.org/index.php?page=PerforceQuickstart

They should also have in their bookmarks:
- - http://bugs.sourcemage.org/
- - http://www.pathname.com/fhs/2.2/

Tell me if you have more questions. Thanks for your time. And sorry for
waiting so long before writing this.

Jérôme Zago.
