Dufflebunk: i think this will be great!. And also very important: is it in
the
roadmap to 1.0?. It probably should.

The problem that Eric describes happened to me after dispelling alsa. It was
NOT enough to rebuild the "gaze depends alsa" spells!. Also, reinstalling
alsa was not an option: first, because i wanted to get rid of it; and second,
because i had recompiled my kernel putting sound into the kernel -that makes
(at least used to) not possible to use alsa-.
I ended manually recompiling the DEPENDS for those spells failing the --nofix
wich i turn sometimes took recompiling their DEPENDS and theirs ...
