I had the same situation like you now when the drm modules suddenly
disappeared from the kernel source some time ago.
Now they're back.
Hm, so one should omit i915 from the drm spell as option? Not sure... it's a
moving target.
I'm off to using my kernel sources for that purpose anyway.


The drm tree always has latest and greatest versions of this... Kernel
only syncs this every so often. And from what I can tell that never
disappeared. Just the menu was restructured etc...
