Well, along the lines of yours; but with the same conclusion about that
being not near future with current cast handling.

I think the measure for _now_ would be to mark and first-cast-disable
the circular dependencies as such via special grimoire wrappers
over optional_depends (I don't see the point in non-optional
circular_depends ... how to fix that without installing binary
snapshots first?).
Indirect circular deps would have to be found and marked, too... I guess
one should be able to search for circles in the whole grimoire dependency
graph in an automated fashion anyway (some of you CS graduates must have
done something like this before, right?;-).
