Does sorcery require bash3 now or does it still work with bash 2.x?
If sorcery requires it, we're certainly free to use them in spells. If
not, keeping basesystem spells bash2 compatible makes conversion of
existing systems easier, but I'm not sure if that's even required
anymore, since installing into a chroot based on some iso image is
always possible.
For anything outside of basesystem, bash3 is fine, but I'd personally
limit it to cases where it really makes sense, as many people aren't
familiar with those features yet.
