Fellow xorg-modular dabblers:
It's been a while since I've been in the loop with the new xorg-modular
stuff, so please excuse me if this has already been covered and kindly
direct me to where I need to go to catch up...
Anyway, I decided to give the new xorg-server a try, and I managerd to
get beryl working with KDE 3.5.6. In case it matters, I have an nvidia
card (using the latest nvidia_driver). Once I finally got xorg-server
and KDE working, I noticed a lot of jagged-ness in KDE -- especially in
the fonts. Also, when I have beryl running and I rotate the cube,
there's some jagged-ness. When I have a console open in KDE, the fonts
seem different.
So I suspect I have missed a compile option or a dependency somewhere?
Or am I missing an xorg.conf option? I'll eventually figure it out on
my own, I guess, but I thought I'd present my issue to the community in
case someone else has seen this so that either I get to a solution
quicker, or so that someone may stop me from wasting time if it's just a
bug.
On a side note to those of you working on the xorg-modular project: nice
job, keep up the good work.
