That's how you're supposed to install bind.
I wrote it way before we had any official spell-writing standards, so
it's wildly out of compliance with our now accepted norms. It does
fancy stuff to setup a secured chroot environment reliably, too (back in
the day).
It uses earlier installwatch/sorcery api stuff directly, for example.
Of course that won't work for stage root, I'm guessing. That makes it a
good test for things we should look out for that other spells did that
used to work that may not anymore under stage root.
Consider it a blessing in disguise. ;)
