I prefer /opt but may be fine /usr/share or /usr/lib or... whatever else :)

The option I'd most be for is /usr/lib/GNUStep this would be same as mozilla
and since most stuff that GNUStep installs is for it's own internal use I think.

not agree. In GNUStep lives all gnustep world (doc, bin, libs, incons and so on).
GNUStep (wich is an openstep implementation, a standard for gui developed
at nextstep and used by apple and times ago by SUN) has its own 'directory
hierarchy standard'.
