the skype spell in z-rejected depends on gcc33

I wanted to install skype but not gcc33.

after some investigation, I found that the rpm for Mandriva systems will
run on a gcc-4.0.2 system

I have modified a local copy of the skype spell, and the program works
for me.

I am not sure whether I should submit this modified spell to p4.

Any opinions?

I don't know why you wouldn't, that's normally what we try to do in this
situation. Is it an upstream source patch or something?

the rpm was built using a different compiler.

I don't seem to be able to edit the z-rejected codex, so I am attaching the
modified spell so that someone else can update p4

When I tried the normal, non-rpm, spell, it didn't compile with gcc 3.4.4. I haven't tested again in the last two or so months. That's lame that they use different compilers for the same program.
