Hi everyone,

sadly enough, I didn't have the time to deal with that stuff as fast as
I expected, so here's a call for comments.
GNOME 2.12 has been working fine in devel for quite some time now, but
it's held back from test integration because of the (api-incompatible)
upgrades of dbus, hal and cairo it requires.
Here's the list again, all of those are optional_depends or
functionality enabled by CONFIGURE options:
cairo breaks: possibly mozillas cairo svg renderer, no one has tested
that yet
dbus breaks: gnugadu2, bluez-utils, rhythmbox
hal breaks: k3b, kdebase

I don't think any of the functionality enabled by those options is
important enough to hold back the GNOME and gtk 2.8 integration into
test any longer. If no one objects those optional_depends will be
disabled shortly until upstream makes their code work with the new hal,
dbus and cairo.
