You may have noticed recently that we've got some more advanced website
redirecting going on and are rebuilding much of the old website
infrastructure. We haven't heard much from the colo facility so we're
simply moving forward as if we lost the data on the colocated server.

The current arrangement/status is:

Perforce is working fine. It's on a separate server.

All private keys are available except for the stable-rc keys, which I
think I generated on the server without copying them locally. I might
have to regenerate the stable-rc keypairs if we can't get them off the
harddrive, which we suspect is dead.

Publishing grimoires is currently done manually by Jeremy Blosser.

Uploading ISOs is still possible.

We're using our ibiblio mirror as the main download/iso/codex/sorcery
site now.

Andrew Stitt, Jeremy Blosser, David Brown, George Sherwood, and I have
been busy setting up a moinmoin-based temporary wiki. David Brown is
working on rebuilding a bugzilla from bugzilla emails.

For the redirecting, we're sending 503 server unavailable notices with a
25 second refresh to a temporary wiki for the main domain website except
direct hits to the homepage, which are given an immediate 307 temporary
redirect to the temporary wiki. codex and download subdomains are being
307 routed to ibiblio.

It's been designed not to interfere with website cache systems like
google so we can recover as much as possible if the harddrive is really
toast.

The temporary wiki can be found on a box on my home LAN, at
http://65.102.47.197:8000/ . AKA http://sourcemage.org:8000/

If there are any users who wish to donate server space for a more
decentralized mirror system that we can round-robin or who want to
participate in a live backup system contact us in irc or send an email
to Jeremy Blosser (nick: emrys).
