xorg says that it installs these:
/etc/X11/xkb/./rules/xfree86.xml
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml

$ ls -lah /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 2005-05-19 08:42 /etc/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml ->
xorg.xml

$ ls -lah /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 2005-05-19 08:42
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/rules/xfree86.xml -> xorg.xml

# cleanse --nofix_quick xorg

Doesn't pick up on it with this machine, but I /have/ seen this before and
thought it was just a fluke.
