I had a few exceptions in there (namely /root, /var/tmp and /tmp): here's
what I
had for /tmp (similar for /var/tmp):
chmod 0777 $INSTALL_ROOT/var/tmp

So all I did was remove the sticky bit from what we normally have. I didn't
change /tmp otherwise.
