Hi,

I didn't do "system-update" for a week or so, and yesterday I did. Somehow,
the
permissions on my /tmp directory are different now. More specifically, nobody
but root can create files there. Perforce gives the following error for
example:

drwxr-xr-t 11 root root 280 2005-05-18 13:49 /tmp
$ p4 submit ...
open for write: /tmp/tmp.32134.0: Permission denied
Client side operation(s) failed. Command aborted.

After fixing permissions everything is back to normal. I am reasonably sure it
has something to do with "sorcery system-update" and/or one of the recently
(-1
week) updated spells, because I've been submitting stuff to repository
continuously before issuing the update command. My /tmp is mounted as tmpfs, I
didn't reboot the machine in days, and fstab didn't change.

I'd appreciate any input, that's not a good thing if something like that
happens.

Sergey.
